Your Easy Guide to Cruelty Free Makeup
Happy thursday and welcome to my first blog post! So excited to share my passions with you guys about living a cruelty free life.So I know sometimes it can be a tad daunting when buying makeup in general but even more so when you're looking for cruelty free brands. So I decided to break down a list for you that's easy and really these are my go to makeup brands that I buy all the time. I also wanted to include various price ranges because I know everyone's budgets are not the same. So I've included a drugstore list as well as a higher end list. I'll also tell you where you can find the mentioned products and show you a bit of my personal collection. Also, I'm focusing on brands that are easily available here where I live in Canada.
Now, more than ever, it's really so easy to find cruelty free makeup brands and ones that are super affordable too! And we're also living in a society where people are becoming more concerned about the quality of the products they are purchasing and how these products are being manufactured. Think about it, our skin is our largest organ of our body so isn't it logical to care what goes on it? I think so. And I'm glad you think so too.

offers eye, face and lip products (no foundations though, that is I haven't seen any here where I live in Canada) and I am obsessed with their bronzer and blushes!

offers eye and lip products (**disclaimer- Nyx has been bought out my another company that does test their products on animals, Nyx still claims they are a cruelty free company but if the third party involvement bothers you then avoid their products) I personally have not bought their products in a while but don't believe in throwing out perfect good makeup. I do have to say that I love their glosses! Super pigmented and goes on very smoothly

This brand is one of my all time faves. Amazing products, especially the lipsticks, and super super affordable. Yay! The lipsticks come in a crazy variety of colors and they are very long wearing and super pigmented.

Love this brand, especially the makeup brushes. Although this brand is not high end it is pricier than other drugstore brands.

Exclusively available at Target, definitely my go to super affordable cruelty free brand. Their stuff is so damn cheap! And also their makeup brushes are crazy affordable and work really well. I highly recommend this brand if you are on a budget.

I recently discovered this brand. It was created by Drew Barrymore. I would say it's in the mid range when it comes to price. So far, from what I have tried, I am very impressed. I definitely need to purchase more! And here, where I live, it's exclusively available at Walmart
