My Cruelty Free Skincare Routine

Skincare Routine- Great Cruelty Free Face & Body Products

I don't know about you guys but for me, as I've gotten older, I've really amped up my skincare routine. I have normal to dry skin and now that I am in my mid 30's I have that added worry about wrinkles and losing natural suppleness to my skin so I make sure to stay on top of things. Right now a main concern is my dry skin seeing as here in Canada the winters can be extremely  harsh on the skin. So I thought I'd share with you guys the current products that I am using and loving to combat my dryness.

I've decided to break things down into two categories. One, starting with products for the face and then going into products that I use for my hands and the rest of  my body. All of the  products mentioned are of course cruelty free, natural, plant based brands. And easy on the wallet too!

So let's get right into it!

Face:

Live Clean refreshing facial wipes

-this brand is hands down my all time favorite skincare brand, all products are 98% plant derived and contain no sulfates, parabens, phthalates.
- according to the packaging these wipes "cleanse to remove skin of impurities, excess oil and makeup" ( I personally use them to remove my makeup, they are super gentle on the skin and remove even the darkest mascara)
- oil and alcohol free (very non irritating on the skin like some wipes can be)
- contains aloe vera, cucumber, lavender, chamomile, milk thistle, mallow & buckthorn

Live Clean soothing daily moisturizer

- this is a must have all year round but especially in the cold drying winter months, I apply this before applying my makeup so I have a nice smooth base to work with
- made to "quench thirsty, dry skin" and restores softness to your skin

Live Clean smoothing facial scrub

- I use this once every two weeks to exfoliate my skin, not harsh on the skin and leaves your skin feeling amazing
- meant to "remove impurities & dull surface cells"
-made of finely ground corn cob

Lush Angels on Bare Skin

- I cannot rave enough about Lush and all of their products but this one in particular has been a lifesaver for my skin, my skin's never felt as smooth and healthy as it has since starting to use this product. This is for sure in  my arsenal of must haves
-face and body cleanser,  vegan
- described as "lavender evens out skin tone while scrubby almonds give a healthy glow"

Avalon Organics CoQ10 Repair Perfecting facial toner

- I recently discovered this brand and at first wasn't quite sure how I felt about it but after using it every day now for almost three weeks I love this  product and would definitely try more from the line
- described as a " wrinkle smoothing toner that balances, restores & tightens through cellular renewal" (great if you like me and concerned with fine lines and wrinkles)
- organic, contains no synthetic fragrances, phthalates, sulfates or  parabens
- contains lavender, white tea and arnica

Avalon Organics Essential Lift restructuring night crème

- contains anti aging minerals so once again great to tackle fine lines and wrinkles
- "helps restructure while you sleep to firm and tone"
- at first glance this cream appears very thick and after using it for a while now it really leaves your skin feeling super super soft

- contains all natural ingredients
