How to Battle Dry Cracked Winter Lips

So here in Canada the winters seem neverending and they always take a toll on my skin, especially in the form of dry cracked lips. So needless to say, lip balms and any products that save my lips during the brutal winter months are a must. So I've accumulated a list of my go to winter products that really do save my lips. These are all super affordable, easy to find and they really do work wonders!

These cute little lip balms are my personal  favorites so I cannot live without these year round but especially during the winter months. They come in a huge variety of flavors, are super moisturizing, made from  100% natural ingredients as well as 95%organic and are just so adorable! A must have!

Hurraw lip balms

These lip balms are a recent discovery of mine and I am so happy to have found these. I found these randomly while at American Apparel so not sure where else they are sold other than perhaps health food stores. They come in a variety of flavours, are made from 100% organic, raw, and all  vegan ingredients. I find these extremely moisturizing and are a great cruelty free option if you're looking for kind of that traditional chapstick that you would buy at the drugstore. A great find!



Lush lip scrubs

These products are not a lip balm but they have been a life saver for me this winter. They really exfoliate the lips and remove any dry/dead skin you might have. Also great to use before applying lipstick. As with all Lush products, the ingredients are all natural and you can even lick them off your lips if you want! (ps- they taste delicious :P) There are a few flavous available but my personal favorite for the winter months is the mint one (in the picture).

Live Clean (Baby) soothing non-petroleum jelly

I initially bought this for my son but I've found myself using it more and more as well. Of course it's extremely gentle if you do have kids but it also works great to just moisturize the lips when they feel cracked. As with all Live Clean products it's made with all natural, plant based ingredients. What can I say, I adore this line and this products is no exception.
