My Top Faves- Vampy Lips

Vampy Lipsticks

It's no secret that I have a love affair with lipstick. And for me, I'll try pretty much any color. The bolder the better! And I think the perfect time to really play with your lipstick choices is the fall and winter months.  A go to, for me, is a pretty neutral eye with a bold, vampy lip. Classic yet still has an edge to it.

Now I know for a lot of the novices out there, a dark lipstick can be really intimidating. I get ya, girl! I used to feel the same way. Noone's asking you to wear black lipstick here! But I think there are plenty of dark berry type shades that still have that wow factor but are a lot easier for the average person to pull off. And no you don't have to spend a lot of money either. There are plenty of cruelty free drugstore lipsticks that are amazing!

So I looked through my collection and picked out my top picks that I think are very wearable and will be my staples for the next few months. As I said before, all are drugstore and are super affordable so no need to break the bank to look fabulous!

1. Bellapierre mineral lipstick in Couture

This lipstick is a gorgeous dark plumy purple color and because it's a mineral lipstick it's super moisturizing. Perfect for the cold temps!

2. Joe Fresh long wearing liquid lipstick in Plum

This is a new discovery of mine. I had never tried any makeup products from this line and didn't even know if it was cruelty free until I looked them up. Super affordable, which is very exciting when it comes to liquid lipsticks. Since it is a liquid lipstick it goes on wet but dries down to a semi matte finish. This isn't the best liquid lipstick I have tried but for the price it's well worth a try and the color is beautiful.

3. Wet n Wild silk finish lipstick

A great lipstick for only $1.99...yes please!! This a great wine shade and also feels pretty moisturizing on the lips. Not as long wearing as their MegaLast lipsticks but who cares! It's so cheap!!

4. Wet n Wild MegaLast lipsticks in Cherry Bomb, Ravin' Raisin & Cinnamon Spice

These are one of my top lipstick formulas ever. Super affordable, matte (which I personally adore) and long wearing. And they have a crazy selection of shades. These particular shades are bold while still being wearable and very fall and winter appropriate.

5. Milani Color Statement lipsticks in Chilled Brandy & Sangria

My second favorite lipsticks of all time are these Milani lipsticks. They last forever, aren't super dying on the lips and they smell so good!  I wanted to include Chilled Brandy specifically because I think it's such a  unique shade. It has very subtle gold flecks, which normally I hate, but with this formula is looks really pretty. It's a great choice for the holiday season too.
