REVIEW- BH Cosmetics Palettes

If you're a makeup lover like I am, palettes are something that are great to have. They give you a lot of bang for your buck, everything is one convenient package and they are great for traveling. As much as I love palettes I always struggle with finding ones that are affordable. Unfortunately it can be really hard d to find palettes at the drugstore so usually I end up going to Sephora. Don't get me wrong, Sephora has some amazing palettes but if you're on a budget paying $50plus isn't exactly ideal. This is why I got super excited when I managed to get my hands on these BH Cosmetics palettes (I found them at Marshalls)

BH Cosmetics is a makeup company known for affordable pricing and these palettes definitely live up to that. All the palettes I reviewed were only $12.99! I found three palettes- one for eyeshadows, one with foundation & concealer, and lastly one with blushes. A great find if you are on a budget but still want good quality makeup. Overall, I've been very impressed with these and I would defnately try more from this brand.

I'll be going into detail about my thoughts on each palette as well as close ups and swatches.

Smokey Eyes eyeshadow palette

This palette comes with 28 shades that can be used to a variety of smokey eye looks. The great thing about this palette is the variety of shades. There are lighter, buildable shades along with deep, dark smokey ones. The finishes vary too from mattes to shimmers.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation on these eyeshadows. The formulation is a tad powdery but it doesn't crease when applied and lasts for a good portion of time without fading and smudging. A great palette for a multitude of looks. I highly recommend this one  (note- there is another more neutral palette also available)

Foundation & Concealer palette

This palette comes with 10 shades that can be used individually or can be mixed together to find your perfect shade. The shades can be used either as concealer or foundation. I personally prefer liquid foundation so I only use this palette as concealer.

This palette does come with a nice variety of shades for fair to light skin tones, the shades are blendable  and are pretty creamy. However, I did find the formula doesn't provide the best coverage so I tend to use these concealers along side my regular concealer. I think this palette is good is you like light coverage or if you want to do touch ups, but for a heavier coverage or for a foundation it doesn't quite hit the mark,.

Glamorous Blush palette

This palette comes with 10 blush shades that range from nudes, to pinks, to deeper colors such as berries. Most shades are mattes but there are a few shimmer shadesI there as well, so it offers a nice range. A nice range too that would be good for various skin tones, which is a plus.

I was highly impressed with the formula of these blushes. For the price, they are super velvety to the touch and highly pigmented. They are very blendable and buildable as well. The color selection is beautiful and offers more neutral, every day shades as well as bolder deeper shades. I highly recommend this palette. You get major bang for your buck!
