Review- Lip Love Tinted Lip Balms
I'm always up for trying new products and get super excited when I find new cruelty free brands, especially affordable ones. Because I am a big fan of lipstick my lips tend to get pretty cracked and dry, even more so during the cold winter months. Now that spring is finally here and warmer weather is on the horizon, I find I'm more prone to using tinted lip balms versus stronger lip products. And a nice plus to lip balms that have a slight tint is that you get a hint of color to your lips for days when you don't necessarily want to wear a lot of makeup.
In my recent travels I found this really cute tinted lip balm set from Lip Love at Marshalls in the natural/organic beauty section. I always make pit stops to Marshalls because they always have new cruelty free products to try and they are always super affordable. This particular set comes with 5 tinted lip balms in various scents. The scents are pretty neutral, some are a tad stronger but none are over powering.
The set includes: sweet vanilla, pink grapefruit, fruit punch, juicy peach and ripe cherry
I really like these lip balms. As far as color goes, only two provide you with any color payoff (ripe cherry and fruit punch). Pink grapefruit has a slight pinkish tone but the rest are clear. Personally, when I wear lip balms it's more for hydration purposes and for days when I wear minimal makeup so not having much color payoff doesn't really bother me. The formula is like a typical lip balm, so quite moisturizing and it feels nice on the lips. Not heavy at all, like some lip balms are. My big draw in wanting to purchase this product was the packaging. I mean it's just so cute! Definitely a step above your regular drugstore lip balms.

Overall, I really like these lip balms and will be using them a lot during the spring and summer. And super affordable too! For 5 tinted lip balms it retails for only $7.99. A real steal!
