Bellapierre XII Go Smokey Palette- REVIEW

REVIEW- Bellapierre XII Go Smokey palette

I always love finding brands that of course are not only cruelty free but also as natural as possible. Well Bellapierre is definitely one of those brands. All of their products are mineral based and free of extra chemicals and parabens, so you can feel good about putting them on your skin. It's also a nice affordable brand, which I am all about. Unfortunately here in Canada it can be really hard to find so I suggest if you see any of their products grab them right away! I personally find Bellapierre at Marshalls or sometimes Winners.

As the name suggests, this palette offers smokey colors, perfect for a dramatic nighttime eye look. It offers 12 shadows and retails for only $14.99. A real bargain! Most of the shades are mattes but a few have a slight sheen to them.

shades included in the palette:

Pure- a nice pearl highlighting shade, with a slight sheen
Softy- light grey, also with a sheen
Day- a matte light grey
Blanket- a darker grey with a blue undertone, with a slight sheen
Gaze- a gun metal grey, with a more metallic sheen
Adore- a matte deep grey/charcoal
Metal- a matte highlighting pearl shade
Rumor- a matte mauve
Thrill- a deep mauve and copper  with a slight metallic sheen
Cosmic- a dark mauve with a metallic sheen
Onyx- a deep gray blue with a metallic sheen
Coal- a black with a slight sheen

Overall, I really like this palette but I do find that you have to work with the lighter shades. The last few dark shades are highlight pigmented though so I don't mind that some are better than others. It's  a very affordable, versatile smokey palette that I think is very good quality for the price. A great palette to have in my collection and I'm sure the more I use it, the more I'll love it.
