ELF Face Palettes--Illuminating, Contour, Bronzer & Blush Reviews

ELF Face Palettes-- Illuminating, Contour, Bronzer & Blush

I am a big fan of ELF, especially as someone who is on a budget. Unfortunately all of the Targets here in Montreal closed so it become next to impossible to find ELF here. Well until now! If you live in Canada and have a hard time getting your hands on ELF products, go check out your local Walmart. They now have an ELF section in the makeup aisle, which excited me beyond words. So of course I had to run and go on a little shopping spree hehe

When I came across these four face palettes I knew I had to pick them up and give them a try. It's always nice finding palettes that are affordable and these are palettes that can be used day to day and take care of all of your makeup needs- from highlighting, to bronzer to blush.

Each palette comes with 4 shades and you get a nice amount of product. The packaging is ELF's typical sleek black packaging and you also get a big mirror, which is a really nice plus. These palettes are great for stuffing in your purse or travelling with.

I'll be talking about each palette individually giving you my thoughts as well as swatches of course. I will say that overall these palettes really surprised me. In a good way. I always love finding super affordable products that work great and where the formula is spot on. You need to try these and add these to your makeup collection, they are that good!

So keep reading for a more in depth review

Illuminating palette
(#83329)
$6.00

This is the highlighting palette that comes with 4 glowy shades that are all very natural and well suited for fair to light skin tones. The formula is infused with vitamin E & argan oil, which makes them super creamy and soft on the skin. These are beautiful, every day highlights that add a natural glow to the skin.without any shimmer, which some cheaper products can have. I use this palette all of the time and cannot rave about it enough. A must have in my book.

Contour palette
(#83320)
$6.00

This palette is meant for contouring, shading, sculpting, brightening and highlighting.  I love using the lightest shade to set my under eye concealer and the darkest is a really nice contouring shade that isn't too harsh and is very easy to blend. Once again, the formula is great but I will say that out of all four palettes I do use this one the least. But it's still a great palette to have, especially is contouring is your thing.

Bronzer palette
(#83319 Bronze Beauty)
$6.00

Obviously this palette is all about bronzers. It has a mix of matte as well as shimmer shades, which I personally love having both options. The shimmer shades are beautiful. They give you a nice sun kissed glow without being sparkly or over the top. All of the shades are easily blendable and as someone with light skin they don't look too harsh or orangey on my skin.  I am very impressed with these bronzers so I think this palette is a must have. The formula is so spot on that it's hard to believe it's only $6! A steal!

Blush palette
(#83314 Light)
$6.00

Hello pigmentation! This blush palette is simply beautiful. It comes with both matte and shimmery finishes and the pigmentation is crazy. This palette blew me away as soon as I swatched it. I have the light palette but these blushes are still very pigmented so you need to apply them with a light hand but good news is they blend beautifully. The color selection is beautiful. Really I have nothing bad to say about this palette. It is well worth the money so go out and buy it....now!
