I can't help but be drawn to really pretty makeup brushes so I am always on the hunt for cruelty free versions. I ran across these at Marshalls and I had to pick them up the second I saw them! I got doubly excited with these because a while back many people were talking about the Real Techniques Bold Metallics brushes and I thought they were gorgeous but unfortunately they were nowhere to be seen where I live. On first glance, these Tru Beauty brushes seem like exact dupes so I thought I'd check them out to review for you guys.


Real Techniques Bold Metallics brushes

First off, the set comes with 3 synthetic nylon bristled brushes all with that stunning metallic handle. It includes the tapered foundation brush which can be used for liquid, cream or powder foundations. The second brush is a rounded powder brush which is for both loose and pressed powders. And finally, the last brush is the precision blush brush which obviously is for blush or bronzers. It retails for $19.99.

Eventhough I haven't tried the Real Techniques brushes I really love these brushes. They are very soft and are so beautiful that to me that reason alone justifies purchasing them. A must have for any beauty lover and a great gift for the holidays!
