Hard Candy Sheer Envy Hydrating Primer Mist

I'm always on the look out for new products to try, especially ones that seem to offer something a little more unique. As I've mentioned in other posts, I have dry skin especially during the winter months so I am always on the hunt for products that will keep me hydrated. My last post was all about the products that I have been loving during these winter  months to help combat my dry skin, so feel free to check that out if that interests you.

Now on to this review...

I use a primer every time I do my makeup, not only to help prolong the wear of my makeup but mainly to make my skin look fresh and as dewy as possible. I find when my skin gets very dry I need that extra boost to make it look healthier and less dull...and that's where products that hydrate come into play. My main goal when looking for a primer is to hydrate my skin, even out dry patches and just give that subtle glow to my skin which I think we all appreciate during the dry winter months. I've tried Hard Candy's regular primers before but this one really intrigued me for two reasons- first it's a mist, so something different then a silicone type based primer and second- it contains coconut water which I know is extremely hydrating.

My thoughts on the product...

My main goal for this product was to use it as a primer to hydrate my skin and elleviate some dryness so I have to admit that I have not used it to set my makeup. That being said, I absolutely love this product. It feels super hydrating on the skin and it sprays a nice mist that makes your skin feel very fresh.  I can see myself using this in the summer months to refresh my skin on those hot days, so another great use. But for now, it really has helped my dryness and it creates a really nice base for my makeup. Really impressive product. Way to go |Hard Candy! I highly recommend this especially if you deal with dry skin but really for anyone who wants to add hydration to their skin. A definite A+
