So summer's in full swing and that means plenty of outings in the sun, pool days and lots of mother and son park dates. When I started my vegan journey 5 years ago and decided to only buy cruelty free products, it took me some time to find more natural sunscreens that actually worked. It's been even tougher finding a sunscreen for my son because he has incredibly sensitive skin and I don't know how  many sunscreens have broken him out. Believe me, I've tried them all! After much frustration I have finally found great sunscreens that work great for me as well as my son so I thought I'd share them with you guys. Both have been tested thoroughly and genuinely get  my full stamp of approval, so much so that they are now my top picks come next summer.

Now you guys know I am all about beauty on a budget so I know that this might seem steep for a sunscreen but I am telling you that this is my all time, holy grail sunscreen. Well worth the price point. Tarte makes some amazing products and this one does not disappoint in the least. Feels great on the skin, not greasy at all and it actually moisturizes your skin as well. If you have sensitive skin like me then you need to give this a try, if you haven't already. A definite must for me every summer.

As I said before, it had been a real struggle finding a sunscreen for my son that didn't break him out. So how happy am I that I finally found one that works. Yassss! I've tried this brand before and have been very impressed in the past so with the success of the sunscreen I am definitely tempted to try even more of their products. Non greasy formula, protects, if your child  is super active like mine it's sweat proof and all that good stuff. And perfect for my son's sensitive skin. So glad I now have this in my arsenal and I feel great knowing that I'm not exposing my child to harmful chemicals.
